We use the tracking service “Firebase” provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 (“Google”). Google Firebase uses tracking technologies that allow the analysis of your use of our app, e.g., for performance monitoring, error logs, and user behavior analysis such as which screens are viewed and how often certain publications are opened. The purpose of using Firebase is to analyze the use of our app, regularly improve it, and thus operate it more economically. With the statistics obtained, we can improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for this data processing is your consent according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR. With Firebase, information about your app usage is collected and transmitted to Google in Ireland or the USA and stored there. The data is collected and transmitted to Firebase in an anonymized manner only. There is no linking with other user data. Google will use the information mentioned to evaluate your use of our app and to provide further services related to app usage to us. Data may be transferred to the USA in this process. The USA is considered by the European Court of Justice to be a country with an inadequate level of data protection according to EU standards. In particular, there is a risk that your data may be processed by US authorities for monitoring and surveillance purposes, possibly without any legal recourse. The company will also retain usage data for internal analysis purposes.
